Large&Small Black&White was an installation of paired pieces: One over 4'-0", one under 4" both inspired and utilizing a single colour.  When entering the space, you were confronted with the large paintings hung from the ceiling in a semi-circle, backs to you and each labelled with their colour.  Passing by the large painting, you notice a very small painting in a frame inside a frame on the wall.  You walk closer for a better look.  Turning back, you are encompassed by the larger image.  You exit the circle to pick another colour to explore....

Extreme states heighten experience
be enveloped swallowed entranced
be forced to focus

Colors relate, as folks do
brighten and bring down
love and hate, flirt and clash

in the black and white
in all that is and is not
shine in the void and the light
dancing alone on the stage
